Code of conduct
All dating sites wishing to join the DA must follow its Code of Conduct to qualify to become, and remain, a member.
Dating sites must:

Not violate any applicable laws or regulations relating to the internet, specifically those concerning copyright, trademarks and licenses, and those that prevent fraud or misrepresentation.

Not use information about members or affiliates without their prior consent.

Not create false profiles.

Ensure accuracy of information regarding to its members and the services that it offers.

Not use unsolicited advertising.

Not pass on personal information to third parties without prior consent.

Provide a reliable and effective service to its users.

Prohibit practices that unfairly affect the consumer or other companies.

Provide a clear and easily accessible copy of its terms and conditions for consumers.

Implement measures that identify and prevent scammers.

Provide easy to access customer support.

Implement clear and fair financial policies, which are outlined on the site, and are obtainable to potential members.
